Fort Ticonderoga Events is a historic wedding venue located in Ticonderoga, New York. First established in 1909, this estate features 2,000 acres of lush landscaping and earthwork for a stunning setting. With multiple event spaces and picturesque waterfront views, couples will have a variety of options to use as their romantic backdrop.

Facilities and Capacity

Fort Ticonderoga Events can host celebrations of various sizes, from intimate elopements to large, lavish receptions with up to 300 guests. Their largest outdoor setting, The Pavilion, is an onsite hotel that was once used as a private home. The careful landscaping, lush trees, and vibrant gardens will act as a stunning location for your ceremony and reception. Couples that prefer an intimate, nautical celebration are welcome to use The Carillion, a boat venue for up to 35 guests, to enjoy a celebration right on Lake Champlain. For a high-rise occasion, Mount Defiance offers an open-air picnic structure that offers a panoramic sight of the fort, lake, and Vermont's Green Mountains. Of course, the main attraction of Fort Ticonderoga will make for a one-of-a-kind setting for your ceremony or cocktail hour. The natural stone walls and majestic surroundings are sure to give your event an old-world finish.

Services Offered

The venue's in-house event coordinator works closely with each couple to help them organize their dream day. Get-ready suites are also available onsite for soon-to-be-weds and their guests to prepare for the altar in comfort. No matter which venue you select, the staff at Fort Ticonderoga Events will make sure you and your loved ones have an unforgettable night.

Julia Nittler
Event Coordinator

Event Coordinator, Julia Nittler, is joining team Ticonderoga to assist with existing programming and to develop a new private events program. After graduating from Champlain College with a degree in Marketing, Julia turned her focus to helping small businesses market themselves. Coincidentally she started working for businesses that helped her develop a passion for designing and planning events. Most recently she has managed a high end catering company, planned events for a Hilton property, and even during COVID worked with JP Morgan as a management consultant. She will be combining her experience with the existing significance of Fort Ticonderoga to create weddings, social, and corporate events that also go down in history.
